Our research focuses on the sustainable synthesis of chemicals using homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts. Systems of (potential) industrial interest are studied from different angles, combining: (i) synthesis of heterogeneous catalysts and state-of-the-art characterization, (ii) (in situ) spectroscopy to learn more about the reaction mechanism, (iii) chemical kinetics and reaction engineering and (iv) description and prediction of reactivity using computational tools.
