Peter Rafferty has been with the Wisconsin Traffic Operations and Safety (TOPS) Laboratory since 2006. In his current position he manages research and development aspects of traveler information, spatial asset management, ITS evaluation and planning, and multistate operations. He has prior experience with the Washington State Department of Transportation in traffic operations and several years of consulting experience in Memphis, Minneapolis, and Madison. Peter completed a BS and MS, as well as doctoral work, in transportation engineering, planning, and economics.
