I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Sciences at UW-Madison, where I direct the Robot Teaching and Teaming (RT2) Lab. Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Aeronautics and Astronautics department (and CSAIL) at MIT. As a researcher, I work on developing methods for effective human-robot teaming with a focus on contact-rich tasks that are physically demanding on people. My main research interests lie in shared autonomy and robot learning.
