Dr. Manolache scored first of his promotion (Chemical Engineering, Macromolecular Chemistry) in the country and he created and developed a variety of methods and installations for specific plasma processes such as treating seeds, nanoparticles and nanostructured material syntheses, surface modification of nanoparticles, polymers, textiles, paper and other materials, remediation of air or water, reduced friction and increased lubricity surfaces, improved hydrophobicity and superhydrophobic / repellent surfaces, increased hydrophilicity and ultrahydrophilic surfaces. Dr. Manolache won Photopolymer Science and Technology Award (Japan, Chiba – 2000) presented by Photopolymer Science and Technology Society (Japan) and Journal of Photopolymer Science and Technology.
