My current research focus is the study of adaptive sampling and measurement techniques for noisy high-dimensional signal recovery, requiring tools at the intersection of signal processing and information thoery. High dimensional signal recovery problems come up in many areas throughout science and engineering, including specific applications in communications, medical imaging, global positioning systems, radar, and bio-informatics. Our research aims to model these problems from a mathematial perspective, allowing us to understand both the gains and limitations of clever adaptive signal acquisition techniques applied to real world problems.
