Azadeh Davoodi is Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Her primary research interests are in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and debug of Integrated Circuits, and in Design Automation of Things, in general. Azadeh is recipients of a 2011 NSF CAREER award. She is recipient of 2015 ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems best paper award and 2010 Design Automation Conference best paper candidate. Her PhD graduate, Lin Xie, won the 2011 Harold A. Peterson ECE Best Dissertation Award at UW-Madison. Azadeh received her PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park in 2006 where she was awarded a University of Maryland Graduate School Dissertation Fellowship. She was selected as Honored Instructor by students of the University Housing for teaching ECE/CS352 in 2010. Azadeh served as guest Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on CAD in 2014-2015, and for ACM TODAES in 2015-2016. She served as General Chair of ISPD 2015 and as the Steering Committe chair of ISPD 2016. Prior to that she served as TPC Chair of ISPD 2014, Track Chair of ICCD (2010-2012) and of DATE (2011-2013), and TPC member in over 10 EDA-related conferences and workshops including DAC, ICCAD, ASPDAC, DATE, ISLPED, ISQED, ISPD, ICCD, GLSVLSI, ASQED, IWLS, SLIP. Azadeh is a senior member of IEEE.
